The Ragged Out String Band

The Ragged Out String Band are a London based group playing an infectious and energetic take on Old-Time Appalachian Folk Music, Americana and Bluegrass. Expect fiery fiddle tunes and tight vocal harmonies backed up by a driving rhythm section of guitar, banjo and upright bass. 

 The band have been at the forefront of the UK Americana scene for some years now and have become regular fixtures at many of the country's leading venues and festivals.

Recent appearances include Didmarton Bluegrass Festival, Orwell Bluegrass festival and Islington Folk Club as well as several ongoing london residencies.

 Their joyous sound puts a smile on your face and a spring in your step and they are a great addition to any festival line-up, venue, party or barn-dance.
